Unconscious thought theory is an exciting line of investigation into the thinking processes of the human mind, and while still contentious, reveals some key flaws in our understanding of how humans make decisions. I'm convinced I could have saved myself a whole lot of anxiety about my major choice if I had gone with my gut earlier on in the process and trusted my unconscious to lead me to the right choice. Of all the subject areas within economics, monetary theory and policy may be the most challenging for the general public. Here, we extended this one-stimulus .. Recently, Stanford and colleagues (2010) introduced a new variant of this classical one-stimulus presentation paradigm to investigate the speed of decision making. Money itself is a bit puzzling. Public choice is an influential theory which gained significant traction throughout the 1980s and 1990s, particularly within the United States.
